The old axiom “a picture is worth a thousand words” is an idea I can live by. In my family we kept 2 things away from the dinner table: religion and politics. It was just impolite to bring them up at dinner. I’ve carried that over to at work as well: never mix politics or religion in the work place, only bad things can come of it. Life is too short to get mired down in the endless accusatory dialogues that come from posting about politics or religion so when I feel the need to say something about them I post a picture and a broad rambling. Vague enough to avoid the ire of the fundamentalist among us, but smirking enough for those that share my ideas to understand.
